Fløyen is an area and viewpoint situated 320 meters above sea level on Fløyfjellet in the city mountains of Bergen. It is among Bergen's most popular tourist attractions. The view over the Bergen Peninsula makes Fløyen a popular destination for both tourists and the local population. There are many hiking opportunities on Fløyen, but you can also take the Fløibanen, an 850-meter-long electric cable car that pulls two cabins between Fløyen and the station at Vetrlidsallmenningen in Bergen city center. At the top of the mountain, you also have the opportunity to purchase food and drinks at the Fløistuen shop and cafe.
